A Morning in the City

The best thing about living so close to San Francisco?! Our quiet sublime Saturday mornings...We love to wake up early and head to the city to beat the crowds and nibble on our favorite goodies...20th Century Cafe is a gem. They have delicious bagels with fancy toppings and freshly-pressed juices.The newly-opened Media Noche has delicious Cubano sandwiches + guava aqua fresca...plus they have banana wallpaper in the water closet and how GORGEOUS is this tile?!We always make sure to pop into Miette...a lovely little bakery and candy shop in Hayes Valley where we pick up rose flavored taffy and miniature cakes to bring home with us...No morning adventure to the city is complete without a Ferry Building farmers' market stop for some flowers, fresh produce, Acme bread, and Bombolini...We ALWAYS take highway one home as the drive is STUNNING and the traffic is usually pretty minimal...it's one of my most favorite drives along the Pacific Coast in California and I highly recommend it...Pssst: I'm 34 weeks now! We're getting so close to meeting our little Tartelette!
