Pomegranate Pansy Martini
Yay! It's pomegranate season! I love pomegranates...they have quite the personality. It definitely takes a little time to remove the seeds, but the amount of seeds in each never fails to surprise me...and they really are messy little things, aren't they? I love using pomegranate seeds in cocktails not only because of the tart and juicy flavor they contribute, yet their color is soooo pretty. Paired with pansies, this pretty beverage is a lovely addition to any holiday gathering or for an evening at home by the fire...Pomegranate Pansy MartiniFor each cocktail...Ingredients:1 tablespoon organic pomegranate seeds + extra for garnishing1 tablespoon warm honey2 ounces vodkaSplash of mineral waterHandful of iceEdible pansies for garnishingDirections:Place pomegranate seeds, warm honey, vodka, mineral water, and ice in a cocktail shaker.
