Rufus
Rufus is my adorable little rescue pup. We adopted him almost two years ago from a local shelter in Santa Cruz. Initially, he was in bad shape and had multiple surgeries within our first year together. Thankfully, he is now healthy. He is the most loving creature. I have learned quite a bit from little Ru...selflessness, forgiveness, patience...how to fit a 40 pound pup in my lap, how to make doggie ice cream cones out of a kong and nylabone, how to redirect crazy-dog-sees-cat-eyes by introducing a squishy ball, how to do yoga with a dog under, on top of, or next to me...among many other skills and disciplines. He has brought so much joy to my life and is a ball of healing goodness.
