Pumpkin Seed + Tart Cherry Granola Bars | Deco TarteletteThese bars are full of all sorts of nutritious goodies...they make a delicious breakfast when on the run with a cup of coffee of course.Makes about 9 barsIngredients:1 1/2 cups organic rolled oats1/2 cup organic dried tart cherries1/2 cup organic raw pumpkin seeds1/3 cup organic wheat germ1/4 cup organic chia seeds1/4 cup organic sunflower seeds3 tablespoons raw butter (feel free to substitute organic unsalted butter)1/3 cup raw honey1 1/2 teaspoons saltDirections:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place oats, seeds, and wheat germ on a cookie sheet and toast in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, place butter, honey, and salt in a pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Let boil for one minute then remove from heat. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Butter a 9" baking dish (use parchment paper if you wish). Pour mixture into prepared pan. Using fingers, press mixture into pan. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool for 3 hours...yes, 3 hours. Be patient...they're delicious. Cut into squares.
